The only difference to the Evo FX Bivvy is that the ‘Lite’ doesn’t come with the front system, suiting anglers looking for a short session shelter in more favourable conditions. I have often been regarded as a bit of a minimalist when it comes to carp fishing, and the reason for this is that I spend much of my time on the move. If the fish aren't feeding where I am, then they will be feeding somewhere. The ability to move swiftly is therefore paramount. The new Fox Evo FX Lite is absolutely the perfect shelter for this purpose. Light and extremely quick to put up and take down (even quicker than a brolly) makes this the shelter that I use for the majority of my fishing.

Now, before you think that it is only good for the mobile angler, think again. The Evo FX Lite offers as much protection as you will ever need for shorter sessions. The new Ven-Tec material is a big bonus because you no longer have to wait for the material to dry out. All you need to do is give a good shake and it is ready to be packed away... heaven! Coming in its own lightweight, tapered carry bag, with a heavy-duty groundsheet, bivvy pegs and two storm poles, it fits nicely into any lightweight quiver (or indeed any holdall). I have never understood why every carp angler doesn't use this system. As soon as you have tried it, I am sure you will agree. Good fishing.
