Van Den Eynde: Grilled Hemp 500gm

This is hempseed that has been heated without water so that oils are released and 'explode' out. It is then cooled and ground up. Grilled hemp should be added just before the start of a session and is best used in depths of less than 8 feet. Top canal anglers use grilled hemp as part of their grounbait mix, especially where roach are the quarry. Added just before the start, it has lots of activity in the water.
MIXING INSTRUCTIONS.
1) For best results, place groundbaits and additives in a ROUND mixing bowl to ensure all of the groundbait is dampened.2) Blend the dry ingredients thoroughly before adding water.3) Add water slowly whilst vigorously stirring the mixture together. This procedure is made easier with a sponge, which allows even distribution of water.4) When the mix begins to appear adequately dampened set aside for 5 to 10 minutes.5) You should find after 10 minutes the mix will require a little more water before it is ready for use.
